Contest Details
Duration: January 1st – February 28th
Theme: Open (Unleash your imagination!)
Style: Black and white, modern, sleek, and minimalist. Adherence to a high-contrast, dynamic aesthetic with fluid, curving shapes, three-dimensional depth, and stark use of light and shadow. The focus should be on form, movement, and meaning. Examples can be found in this gallery. I do not recommend using artwork with high noise or too much detail, as these are unsuitable for robotic drawing.

✨ How to Enter
Submit your artwork via mail aicontest[at]robotsdoart.com. Be sure to include the name of the AI tool you used with prompt text and briefly explain your creative process.

  1. Adherence to Style: Does your artwork capture the contest’s stylistic essence?
  2. Artwork Content: Is your work visually striking, cohesive, and technically impressive
  3. Meaning: Does your piece convey depth, story, or emotion beyond its visual appeal?

You can use my GPTs with an already predefined style. The prompt mustn’t contain the names of other artists or the name of a famous painting. You can submit artwork with any aspect ratio.

I provide mentorship throughout the contest, offering feedback on each submitted artwork to help participants refine their creations. Participants can submit one artwork at a time and receive feedback, with a maximum of 10 entries allowed per person.

🥇 1st place – Milan Illes

Milan delivered the most thoughtfully curated and visually unique series in the contest. His theme of the Parachute Man—inspired by the war in Ukraine—captured vulnerability and strength in equal measure. His work is a quiet yet powerful statement about empathy, pain, and resilience.

🥈 2nd place – Dasha Shimorina

Dasha’s work stood out for its consistency and symbolic depth. Her Tree of Life piece explores themes of growth, duality, and connection—blending natural imagery with a reflection on human experience. Her trust in the creative process led to something truly meaningful and visually powerful.

🥉 3rd place – Ella Ron

The youngest participant in the competition, Nela impressed with her brave and emotionally honest work. Living in a conflict zone, her art reflects the impact of war on the youngest generation—especially influenced by the events of October 7th. Her style is strikingly mature, and her expression heartfelt.
